Warm greetings from The University of Sydney Centre for English Teaching (CET), in Sydney Australia.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to CET and introduce the Student Welcome Services pre-arrival coursework. This online course provides you with all the fundamental information you will need to successfully adjust to life in Australia and your study program.

You are required to complete all the online modules prior to your first day at CET.  The modules can be translated to other languages, but we strongly recommend that you complete the course in English.

At CET, we do our very best to ensure that your time with us is one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. We aim to do this by CONNECTING you to Australia and the University of Sydney, EMPOWERING you through innovative pedagogies and TRANSFORMING your life through education.

Your formal orientation is held at CET (level 5 Wentworth Building) on the first day of your course.  Registration begins at 8:00am.  If you are unclear with anything in these online modules, you should ask a staff member in the first week of your course.
